Ariel's Blackwater Tributary
Biotoecus!

Rivers are the lifeblood of the forest. They penetrate the most remote ares of South America and Africa, containing a wealth of life. The fauna of these aquatic ecosystems is truly amazing and unique from region to region. I am fascinated by the life found in Amazonia and Africa's blackwater, particularly Brazil's Rio Negro and areas of Central/West Africa.

I keep primarily cichlids, characins and killifish from all over the World, especially Northern South America and Western Central Africa. For now, this site contains mostly photos of some of my fish, new imports and other interesting pics, as well as some articles. I hope to have something interesting for everyone. More to come!
