Etia nguti

A newly described (Schliewen and Stiassny 2003) genus/species of cichlid from the Mamfue (sometimes seen as Mamfe) River
- Cross River drainage - in Cameroon. Not to be confused with a fish imported in 2002 as Tilapia sp. "Mamfe."

Males can be distinguished by their more slender body profille, more pointed snout, and greater number/intensity of blue dots on their tail and dorsal fin.
